Being an ICT Student......

In this age of very high technology, we really need to excel on computer generating. We really need to know about it to survive and never be behind others.
Being an ICT student, it is really very fortunate to me because it made more educated and more fluent on technical skills that will help me to my daily life and to my chosen profession-Computer Engineering.
Being an ICT student, it is an advantage for me to know more about on computer. Honestly speaking, I really don’t know how to open and shut down a computer. But when I goal on knowing and understanding it, I passed. It doesn’t matter how literate you are on computer. What matters is that you believe in yourself and you hane that determination to learn about it.
Now, I’m very thankful that I have this kind of blessing. Because I learn more and have that determination to learn no matter how hard it is.

My Dream, My Future

Before being a teenage r, I dream of being a doctor. This dream becomes my goal when I go school in elementary. When somebody what is my dream or my ambition, I always say to become a doctor.
But when I reach my High school life, I realize different things and limitations in life. This led me to understand why the right course I should get and what fits my skills and talent. Now, I’m planning to get engineering. I’m very happy because my family likes me also to that profession.
In this present time, I can already foresee my future that I graduate standing in a stage with flying colors. And will lead me to higher goal.

CHANGE: its starts with me

“Change for the better”
All of us change, in little way or in big way. But being a student, can we possibly change for the better?
As a student, we can change even just doing a little thing. Most people say, “I already change for the better.” But deep inside, they are not. They take changing for granted. They make resolutions but are just play for them.
As a student, change possibly starts s with me. Yes I can change the world by being a good role model to others especially to the youth. And maybe they can use us as their inspiration to do good things that will lead them to help and change the world not only for the better but for the best.
Showing them up that we change will possibly follow us and lead   others to change until we meet the CHANGE we want for ourselves.

KANNAWIDAN: YLOCOS

I never know of the Kannawidan. Just all I know, it is a big celebration here in Ilocos region. But when I research about it, it’s not only a big celebration but an important festival that all should know. It is about the preservation of different cultures and traditions. It also aims to promote our special and unique products. Like our OTOP, it made our province more attractive to tourists.
After researching about it, now I know that it is very enjoying and it is very nice that we have this kind of celebration. So this last Kannawidan, I attend only one night but it is very much wonderful that can be compare to others.

My Reflection

Two Grading has passed. Now,Third Grading will end up and one more to go before we complete another chapter of our lives.
We are now at the climax of our life in this institution. And we will harvest the fruit of our hardwork and  sacrifice. This Third Grading is so full of memorable moments and fun. In the academic side, I think we also improve even just a little bit. But in my side, I can say I really improve.
In this Grading, I face minor problems and I think I all passed it. Making drafts? Oh, I really do my drafts because I am the collector so I have the motivation to work on it.
I'm very thankful to God because He gave the chance to passed on all the requirements in this grading. Thank you Lord and to all my fellows, be motivated and never forget to thank God.

NEW YEAR NEW ME

A year has passed. A New Year comes and it is the Year of the Dragon. New Year, new life, new hope, new personality and most of all, the NEW ME.
Every time New Year comes, I change all my negative habits, my bad attitude and only remain the same is the influence of mine- my INSPIRATION.
My inspiration is always remain because it is one of the greatest things that I use to accomplish every resolution I make. Every time I apply this kind of inspiration with every step of my resolution, I see the result and most often it is success. I grow more mature and most especially, I make little by little the steps of changes in this year. But sometimes, there are resolutions also that I can’t accomplish because of the hindrances and challenges that comes in my life. But it is worth because made simple resolution as a big mission to fore see my best in the future.
Some are making resolutions but they don’t even work on it even just a little step of it. We made resolutions; we plan to change, so we should change for the better

Our own Mother Tongue

Mother tongue can be our identity in this world. It is our first language. Maybe it’s different but it is important to obtain our cultures, tradition and maybe our own selves.
A first language (also native language, mother tongue, arterial language)is the languages a person has learned from birth or within the critical period, or that a person speaks the best and so is often the basis for sociolinguistic idenity. In some countries, the terms native language or mother tongue refer to the language of one's ethnic group rather than one's first language. Sometimes, there can be more than one mother tongue, when the child's parents speak different languages. Those children are usually called bilingual.
I had my only one mother tongue because my parents are both have one language. So, it means that I am not a bilingual. My mother tongue is Maranao. I am a Muslim and having this mother tongue, I can communicate to other Muslim all over the Philippines. I can’t communicate to others by using this language so there’s what we call second language like Iloko and Tagalog. So, by using this we can be our savior of our own mother tongue.
Love our mother tongue even if we are not similar to others. And be proud of it because preserving it is like preserving a precious gem that cost very expensive.

SHARING LOVE: An Essence of Christmas

BRRRRR! The winds is becoming colder and colder. The winds dance gracefully. All are preparing for CHRISTMAS......
The day has come. A day to remember and kept as memorable thing that is wonderful to share to others. We, Filipinos have the longest Christmas celebration. From September to January, we still share of our blessings. Still celebrating and feeling the Christmas. But, what really comes in our mind when Christmas is coming? What are we celebrating for?
Most children and even elders are waiting for Santa Claus when Christmas is coming. They don’t even know what the reason why we celebrate Christmas is. “Santa Claus! Santa Claus! Santa Claus!” they said. They’re waiting Santa Claus to give them gifts. But what they don’t know, our parents are the Santa Claus. They want gifts, material gifts. How about the essence of Christmas?
The true essence of Christmas is sharing love to one another and makes everybody happy. Not all people around the world but when we smile to everybody, you feel you made them happy and you’ll feel everybody loves you. You share love to one and pass it to another until everybody will be happy. Until love will be the greatest of all. And we will remember Jesus Christ as the god of love and we will feel graceful to have Him and being part of our lives. Share our blessings to all and be contented with what you have.
Remember Jesus Christ on Christmas not Santa Claus because Jesus might feel alone. So if we remember Him, love conquers all! And don’t forget, “SHARE YOUR BLESSINGS” so we can really prove this quotation, “To those who do GOOD, their GOOD shall return with INTEREST!”
